Learn to fly
Instrument Rating
With an Instrument Rating (IR) added to your license, you can fly the aircraft using onboard flight instruments, even in low-visibility conditions.
Objective
The goal of the IR program is to prepare you to safely operate an aircraft in conditions of limited visibility, using only your flight instruments.
This rating is a valuable addition to your Private Pilot License, providing an extra margin of safety and greater flying flexibility.
If your goal is to fly commercially, then adding this rating to your license is essential.
